Kenedy Kallas is a professional dancer, teacher, performing artist, stager, and choreographer.
Her Art is led by Devotion, curiosity, eros and grief.
She has danced throughout Europe, with the renowned Nederlands Dans Theater 2 and the Hessisches Staatsballet. During her time with the companies she originated roles in 20 new creations, with choreographers that include Marco Goecke, Paul Lightfoot, Sol Leon, Tom Weinberger, Dimo Milev and others.
After 6 years in the companies she began to freelance. Her time as a freelance artist has been spent working closely with, creating with and performing new creations by Dunja Jocic, Raquel Nevado Ramos, Dimo Milev, Josie Walsh, Antonin Rioche and others. She is also a stager for Imre & Marne Van Opstal.
Kenedy’s dance trajectory went from competitive dance, to focusing on classical ballet at Ballet West in her hometown of Utah, to training year round on full scholarship at San Francisco Ballet. Kenedy was awarded The Prestigious Natalia Makarova award at YAGP, and was invited to perform a new creation at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg Russia. She has performed works created by Josie Walsh at the international Gala De Danza, as well as YAGP Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow gala in New York City, and Yellow Stone International Arts Festival in Montana.
